With the critical November midterm elections looming, Former Vice President Kamala Harris has re-emerged after losing the 2024 presidential race. As a result, she is now being heavily ridiculed after appearing on a “No Bad Ideas” brainstorming session on a podcast livestream to call for radical reforms.

Packing the U.S. Supreme Court, abolishing the Electoral College, and granting statehood to Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C., were among some of the more concerning suggestions.

As reported by Fox News:

Former Vice President Kamala Harris went viral on Thursday after pushing what many considered several “bad ideas” in her “no bad idea brainstorm” for the Democratic Party.

During a Wednesday night livestream on the “Win with Black Women” podcast, Harris suggested that the Democratic Party get an “expanded playbook” of ideas ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

“I think that we need an expanded playbook in a way that we invite all ideas, that we say... look, this is a moment where there are no bad ideas, a no bad idea brainstorm is what I’d like to call it,” Harris said. “And in that no bad ideas brainstorm, we talk about what we need to do and think about doing around the Electoral College. We talk about the idea of Supreme Court reform, which includes expanding the Supreme Court. We invite a conversation about multi-member districts.”

Harris suggested that, if and when Democrats regain the Senate, the Senate Judiciary Committee should put into place rules to “penalize people for lying” for Supreme Court justices and nominees.

“That we agree that it is right to have ethics rules for Supreme Court justices. And let’s put those in place. Let’s talk about statehood for Puerto Rico and D.C. These are the things I think that we’ve got to do,” Harris continued.

Fox News Digital reached out to Harris’ office for comment. Harris’ ideas received widespread backlash across X, with conservative commentators calling out her comments as several “bad ideas.”

As the election season looms, it looks like the far Left is pushing to rewrite the Constitution to win the midterms and wrest back control. Former VP Harris – or her advisers – seem to have some bold ideas on what her party can do to win.

Take action with the ACLJ. Sign the petition: Stop the Left’s Plot To Destroy the Constitution.

One would think most reasonable people who watched what happened in 2024 might suggest taking a somewhat more moderate position on hot-button issues. But not Harris.

Might these be the beginnings of another run for the White House in 2028. She has certainly not denied it, though she has said she hasn’t made an official decision yet – but Harris is certainly starting to dip her toe into the idea of another shot at the Oval Office. And she doesn’t seem interested in moving closer to the center.

Maybe she believes, with a bit more lead time, she could do better. Of course, that would require winning a primary first – something she was able to bypass the last go around.

The specific subjects that Harris suggested on the podcast played like a Leftist greatest hits, including doing away with the Electoral College, expanding the Supreme Court – a scheme we told you that her former boss once kicked around as well, and even a conversation about multi-member districts.

But of course, one of the key features of the U.S. Supreme Court is that it is nonpartisan, at least in theory, because the Justices are selected through a process that requires Senate confirmation. And since those are lifetime appointments, Presidents usually only get to nominate one, two, maybe three, if they’re lucky, during their time in office.

Harris spoke of strictly going by the popular vote. Fine, but remember what happened last time. It does not make a guaranteed win for her party because she also lost the popular vote. So, she would have lost even by her own suggestion.

Essentially, former VP Harris announced a no bad idea brainstorm and then proceeded to list only bad ideas. Is this really where the far Left is at – a political moment where it feels there’s no way to win on substance, on issues, so instead it must come up with tricks? It’s scheming new ways to win that are outside the scope of how the game is played. Harris seems to be forgetting there’s a rulebook to that game: the Constitution of the United States. Surely, she heard of it in law school. To fight back we have launched a new petition: Stop the Left’s Plot To Destroy the Constitution. Take action with us.

And just deciding to move things around and change the rules because you can’t win on your ideas and your own merit is not a good idea, contrary to this “No Bad Ideas” brainstorm. But sadly, this seems to be the reality we are living in 2026.

Today’s Sekulow broadcast included more discussion of the unconstitutional ploys former VP Harris put forward as ways her party can once again win. We were also joined by author and former NFL linebacker David Pollack, who discussed his brand-new book, Every Day Counts.
