We’ve told you how bad the conditions at our southern border continue to get since the Biden Administration established its immigration policies. The United States hit record levels for the highest amount of migrant surges in 20 years. The reality is conditions at the border are so out of control that the Biden Administration is diverting $2 billion that was meant for COVID relief to try to cover up his own mess.

In a time where immigrants are crossing the border illegally in record numbers, U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Marcia Fudge said HUD is not prioritizing U.S. citizens over illegal immigrants for public housing assistance, despite a shortage of available units following the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the opposite of former Trump Administration HUD Secretary Ben Carson who was working on putting American citizens first for public housing. According to statistics, there were about 32,000 undocumented immigrants living in public housing in 2019.

Nevertheless, the President and Vice President still haven’t even gone to visit the border to see the reality for themselves. Congress and the American people have noticed their absence and are demanding action. Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-1) is introducing a bill that would temporarily stop taxpayer money from being used for the travel expenses of Vice President Kamala Harris until she visits the border herself and devises a game plan for solving the crisis. After all, she was the one tasked to solve this situation in the first place.

President Biden’s campaign message of open arms to immigrants crossing the border illegally and his dedication to reverse all of the former Administration’s immigration policies encouraged waves of migrants to run straight for our border. There are bi-partisan solutions being put forth by Congress to solve this crisis. If President Biden and Vice President Harris wanted to act on this issue, they could. This seems to be another political move to undo former President Trump’s immigration policies and use it as political chess for the next election.

The crisis at the border is not the only situation that the Biden Administration lacks leadership and action to handle. As we’ve told you, Hamas’s attacks on Israel have escalated and our ally is suffering for it.

Special guest Major Doron Spielman, an Israel Defense Forces spokesman, set the record straight about what is actually happening in Israel following the rocket attacks by Hamas:

From the Israeli perspective, we are in the middle of protecting our citizens from an unprovoked attack of 4,000 plus rockets that have been raining down on us. I just came from Ashkelon where 3 or 4 hours ago a family was having lunch and they heard a siren. The mother and the son ran in the shelter and because of that they’re alive. The entire home was obliterated. The father and daughter weren’t there, but you can just see that it was a miracle that the family is still alive. That is the potential of every rocket. From the Israeli perspective, we are under attack. At the same time, we have restraint in attacking our enemies in a way that nobody else ever would. Any other country in the world would level and obliterate their enemy if they were shooting rockets at them. But we manage to send notifications, text messages, phone calls, knocks on the roof with unarmed rockets to make sure the buildings are clear and then if there is still someone left, we don’t hit. Then you look at the media, the reality simply has no connection to what the media is doing. It is disheartening, but we are strong people.

When asked about what Americans can do, Major Doron said:

The bottom line is – make sure that Hamas is [held] responsible.

We will continue to hold Hamas accountable for these attacks and hold President Biden accountable for his inaction and refusal to help our ally Israel defend itself.
